Our focus

FORTE Lab conducts research on foundation models, reasoning, trustworthy AI, and explainable AI. Its work covers solver-guided reasoning, reinforcement learning, preference optimization, knowledge editing, multilingual and multimodal AI, interpretability, and culturally aware AI.

The lab offers research opportunities for undergraduate, FYP, MS, and doctoral students interested in building AI systems whose reasoning can be evaluated, explained, and improved.
